Description
Seachem Prime Water Conditioner – Complete & Concentrated Aquarium Water Treatment
Seachem Prime is a highly concentrated water conditioner for freshwater and marine aquariums. Designed for use when setting up an aquarium or carrying out routine water changes, Prime removes chlorine and chloramine while also detoxifying ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
Because Prime is extremely concentrated, only a small dose is required compared with many conventional aquarium water conditioners, making it an economical choice for both small aquariums and larger fishkeeping systems.
Removes Chlorine & Chloramine
Tap water disinfectants can be harmful to aquarium livestock and beneficial filter bacteria. Prime conditions new tap water by removing chlorine and chloramine, making it suitable for use during aquarium water changes and initial setup.
Detoxifies Ammonia, Nitrite & Nitrate
Prime also temporarily detoxifies ammonia, allowing the aquarium’s biological filter time to process it more safely. It can similarly detoxify nitrite and nitrate, providing useful additional protection during cycling, transport or periods when water quality is under stress.
Highly Concentrated Formula
Prime treats approximately 200 litres with just 5ml under normal conditions. This concentrated formula makes it particularly useful for aquarists maintaining multiple or larger aquariums.
