Seachem Reef Kalkwasser 1kg is a high-purity calcium hydroxide supplement designed for maintaining calcium and alkalinity in marine reef aquariums. When prepared correctly as kalkwasser or limewater, it provides an economical method of replacing calcium consumed by corals and other calcifying organisms.
Kalkwasser has been used successfully in reef aquariums for many years and is particularly useful when dosed gradually through an automatic top-up or controlled dosing system.

Important Dosing Information
Kalkwasser should be prepared and dosed carefully. The solution has a high pH and should normally be added slowly rather than poured directly into the aquarium. Regular testing of alkalinity, calcium and pH is strongly recommended.
