The TMC Vecton 200 UV Steriliser is a compact and highly effective ultraviolet steriliser designed to help maintain clearer, healthier aquarium water. Clearer Aquarium Water
Water is pumped through the Vecton 200 and exposed to ultraviolet light from its 8W UV lamp. This helps control the microscopic free-floating algae responsible for green water while also reducing populations of bacteria and other microorganisms that pass through the steriliser.
Because UV treatment takes place outside the aquarium, it provides additional water-quality support without adding chemicals or treatments directly to the water.
Designed for Efficient UV Exposure
The Vecton is designed to maximise contact between aquarium water and the UV source, helping provide effective sterilisation while maintaining practical flow through the unit.
For best performance, the water flow should be matched to the application. Slower flow provides greater exposure to the UV-C light, while higher flow can be used where water clarification is the primary objective.
