The TMC Vecton 600 UV Steriliser is the high-capacity model in this Vecton aquarium UV range, providing powerful UV-C water treatment for freshwater and marine aquariums up to approximately 600 litres.
Equipped with a powerful 25W UV lamp, the Vecton 600 is designed for larger aquariums requiring effective control of free-floating algae together with a reduction in unwanted bacteria and other microorganisms passing through the filtration system.
Powerful UV-C Water Treatment
Aquarium water passing through the Vecton is exposed to ultraviolet light. This UV-C exposure disrupts free-floating microorganisms and algae, helping prevent them from reproducing successfully.
The result can be noticeably clearer aquarium water, particularly in systems affected by persistent green water or free-floating algal blooms.
Ideal for Larger Aquarium Systems
The TMC Vecton V2 600 Steriliser has a maximum recommended flow of approximately 1,900 litres per hour, making it suitable for larger freshwater, marine and reef aquarium filtration systems.
Flow can be matched to the required level of UV treatment. Appropriate flow through a UV steriliser is important because the length of time organisms are exposed to the UV-C source influences the level of treatment achieved.
